Gift to an Officer of RKKA, with Stalin's portrait. Gift cover for a notebook, with a sleeve for a pencil, circa mid- to late 1930s.
Measures 4 ½" x 6 ¾". Hard cover is wrapped in dark-brown leatherette. Inside, there are two sleeves for notebook inserts, and a short sleeve for a pencil along the spine. The front cover features an embossed portrait of Stalin and the lettering "Gift to an Officer of RKKA" (RKKA being the Russian abbreviation for Red Army of Workers and Peasants).
In good to very good condition. The cover shows mild to moderate wear at the spine and corners but is clean of any other wear or damage. Inside, the sleeves for notebooks and pencil are in good working condition.
