The red and black enamels are essentially perfect, having only microscopic contact marks. The enamel retains an attractive luster throughout. The raised details and gilt finish are beautifully preserved. The silver finish on the reverse is likewise nearly pristine. The screw post is full length, approx. 10 mm, and comes with a scarce original mint-marked screw plate. All in all, a great example of a very uncommon military school badge issued for only a few years immediately after the war!
