In gilded brass and high quality "hot baked" enamels, remarkably well-made. Medallion is about 39 mm wide. The suspension device has an inscription "To a Foremost (Worker) in the Socialist Competition" and the year of issue. Comes with original plastic case with translucent cover showing Romanian Socialist Party emblem and RSR abbreviation for Romanian Socialist Republic (used only after the name changed in 1965 from "Romanian People's Republic" or RPR).
