For Happy Childhood, Airbrushed Painting on Cloth, 1951.

Very large format, measuring 4' x 6', in airbrushed water-based (acrylic?) paint on a sheet of (cotton?) fabric.

As a matter of idle curiosity, one may wonder why comrade Tkachuk, obviously a professional artist, made it so that Stalin's hands do not actually touch the child. Not even with his right hand on which the boy is sitting.

The painting used to be on a stretcher and framed, as evidenced by the lines of discoloration and staple holes along the edges.

In excellent, superb condition, showing just a couple of barely visible faint stains next to the bouquet of flowers and near the top left corner.

Please note that the yardstick in our photo is for size reference.
