Notebook of a Delegate of the XIV Congress of the Communist Youth Leage of Ukraine, 1949.
Measures 5 ½" x 7 ¾", leatherette-wrapped hard cover. The front cover features a high 3D bas-relief portrait of Lenin and Stalin. Under the portrait, the embossed lettering in gold reads "To a Delegate of XIV Congress of LKSMU" (Russian abbreviation for "Lenin's Communist Youth League of Ukraine"), followed by "February 1949". The verbiage is in the Ukrainian language.
The remaining 20 or so internal pages feature the letterhead on top reading "Delegate of the XIV Congress of LKSM of Ukraine" in Ukrainian language.

These notebooks were manufactured in very small quantities and issued exclusively to the delegates of this congress.
The notebook is in excellent condition. The cover shows a faint scuff to the leatherette next to the date below, and a couple of minuscule gray spots on Stalin's temple, barely noticeable and mostly blending with the dark brown color of the leatherette. The wear to the corners of the back cover and spine is almost nonexistent. The pastedown is a little stained but the tear-off pages inside are in near-pristine condition.
