The medallion is in brass with gilt finish, approx. 40 mm wide x 45.5 mm tall (including the eyelet). Stamped serial number to the reverse matches the number stamped on the pouch. The suspension device has a copper-plated pin in magnetic steel. The ribbon is in silk of very high quality. The ribbon bars have a brass backing with a pin (the backing is also in copper-plated steel, like the suspension for the medal.)
