Excellent Parachutist Badge, circa mid- to late-1960s.
In brass and enamels; measures 46.8 mm in height (not including the pendant), 21.8 mm in width. Early, 1955-1968 model with the "ear" projections on the sides for connecting the pendant. This is a particularly scarce version of the badge, featuring a separate airplane superimposed on the parachute (the more common version of the badge is of single-piece construction.)
The badge is in very fine overall condition. The obverse is perfect. The enamel is pristine and shows beautiful luster. The gilt finish is bright throughout, completely free of tarnish. The pendant for 10 / 25 jump

The pendant for 10 / 25 jumps is a replacement that came off of a 1970s-80s badge, but its shape and design are the same as the original. The screw post has been shortened as was customary, but its remaining length of over 6 mm is enough to accommodate the screw plate and provide proper functionality. The badge includes an original period screw plate marked "Pobeda Factory, Moscow".
