Measures approx. 16 ½ x 23 ½" overall, the image is approx. 12 x 16". The artwork, possibly inspired by the events of the Russian Revolution of 1905, depicts a scene on the barricades in the heat of a battle.
In very good to excellent condition. The image is pristine. The margin around it shows minor soiling as well as tiny edge bumps and a small rip to the right-side margin. The bottom corners feature minor creases with can be straightened out with ease, if desired.

Victor Vikhtinsky (Виктор Иванович Вихтинский, 1918-2003) was a renowned master of graphic arts and painting, WW2 veteran, professor of the Kharkiv Arts Institute. His works are on exhibit in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum (Moscow), and Kharkiv Museum of Fine Arts.
