The crown is in navy blue gabardine; green cloth band and piping. Comes with a Ukrainian hat cockade showing the Trident on sky-blue background, the national emblem of independent Ukraine. It is interesting to see that the side buttons are the Soviet model with the hammer & sickle emblem - the old stock used before the new buttons with Ukrainian insignia could be manufactured.
The leather sweat diamond shows the logo of the Headgear Factory in the city of Odessa and a 1992 date of manufacture. There is a quality inspection stamp on the inside of the sweat band. The size 59
