A rather unusual and rare opportunity to glean into the life of the Soviet province, far away from capital cities. Kislovodsk is a relatively small city famous as a balneological resort, rich in natural mineral waters which can be drunk directly from the source or used for balneotherapy. Relaxing postcards like this may have been popular among the vacationers staying in the balneological resorts and wishing to send a hello to their loved ones.
