In wave blue wool gabardine with red band and piping. Gold embroidery on the band and the visor as well as the chin cord. Features characteristically large "oversized" crown. Red silk tape threads through the leather sweatband to allow a customized fit, a feature unique to general officer hats. The two-piece hat badge is also the type specific to generals. The leather sweat shield shows the logo of the Moscow TsEPK Factory of the Ministry of Defense without the date of manufacture, as typical of the general officer hats produced after 1987. The hat is in excellent, near mint condition and appears to have never been worn. Both the interior and exterior are immaculately clean. The wool is completely free of the usual moth bites or tracks. The patent leather visor is perfect. The gold embroidery is likewise perfectly preserved and tight, without any loose strands.
