However, similar decorations cast from an identical model are marked by the logo of the Baranovka Porcelain Factory, in use from 1950 to 1957.

In good condition. The reverse shows a repaired chip at 12 noon on the clock and a few minor scuffs and scratches in the middle, all blending rather mercifully with the white of the porcelain mass. The surface of the photo artwork on the obverse is very clean, no damage of any kind visible to the naked eye. The gilt on the ornament running around the artwork is mostly intact and has retained most of its original luster.

This decoration is an uncommon period piece from the Krushchev era and will make a very nice addition to a collection of Soviet memorabilia.
