In outstanding, excellent condition, extremely uncommon for this badge. The enamel - including the highly exposed green enamel on the edge of the shield - is completely free of the usual chips, flaking or repairs. There are only some microscopic contact marks, no wear visible to the unaided eye. The enamel fully retains its extremely attractive tone and luster throughout. The details of the center medallion are perfect and the fragile silver finish shows almost no wear - also an extremely uncommon case. Traces of the original fire gilt finish are still visible in the recessed areas of the oak leaves, while the gilt on the reverse is bright and very well preserved showing only mild tarnish. The screw post is full length, well over 12 mm, and includes an original screw plate showing the logo of the Pobeda Factory in Moscow.
