This particular graphic was in use in the 1960s. The "B/C" mark in red is the QC stamp confirming top quality of the bust.
Excellent condition. There is a tiny hairline scuff mark on the forehead, two small contact points on the back in the shoulders area and two faint little smears to one of the corners of the plinth. All are very minor and not really detractive.
Those who have seen actual photographs of Lenin can appreciate the propagandistic requirement for artists to "noble-ize" his image. Those who have NOT seen his actual photos but are looking at this bust, can see a well-balanced calm shrewd thinker who is poised deep in thought, simultaneously planning a happy future for the workers and peasants of the world and sternly warning all their enemies of their inevitable defeat.
