The Soviet Peace Fund was one of the international branches of the Communist Party, aiming to undermine western weapon developments and military deployments. The organization funded numerous "peace seeking" movements and protests in the US and Western Europe. In the last decade of its existence, most working Soviet citizens had to make "voluntary" monthly contributions to its coffers.
