Excellent condition. The obverse is completely pristine; the enamel is perfect with the exception of a few microscopic contact marks that are completely unnoticeable without magnification. The medallion is free of knocks, dings or scratches visible to the naked eye. The toning to silver is even and very attractive overall, although the reverse has a couple of blemishes probably due to an exposure to moisture long tim

Comes on original suspension in brass. The old, possibly original ribbon is somewhat faded but is otherwise very well preserved and attractive
(nevertheless, at buyer's request, we will include a sufficient length of loose brand-new ribbon at no extra charge.) The connecting link has
been cut but appears to be of the period.
