Gilded brass, enamels; 46.7 x 39.2 mm. Variation 2 featuring rotating tool-engraved serial number. Note the unusually high serial number which is near the upper limit for the screw back type.
In excellent condition. The enamel is practically pristine having only a couple of miniscule contact marks, free of flaking or other significant wear. There is attractive even patina to the brass, while the original gilt finish is nicely preserved in recessed areas of the wreath. The screw post is approx. 9 mm long, probably reduced by a couple of mm for convenience as was customary but more
