Excellent Driver badge, by the Pobeda factory, mid to late-1950s.
Brass, enamels; 45.4 x 36.2 mm. This is the last type of the badge, "Classic Flat" according to Airapetyan classification. Shows a GAZ-51 truck without a side grille driving on a slightly downward slope.
In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is practically perfect, has only microscopic contact marks, no flaking, visible scratches or other wear noticeable to the naked eye. The gilt finish is completely pristine and bright on both the obverse and reverse. The fragile black finish on the edge of the shield is also fully intact.
