Brass, enamels; 35.6 x 27.1 mm. This particular piece is a fairly early issue judging by the details of its obverse and reverse.
In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect and shows beautiful luster. The gilt finish to the brass is exceptionally well preserved and bright on both sides. The screw post is full length, over 11 mm, and comes with original early-vintage Pobeda Factory screw plate.
This "unified type" badge was introduced in 1957 and used until the collapse of the Soviet Union. It was issued to graduates of lower lever military colleges that unlike military
