Early type in brass and "hot-baked" enamel, 38.6 x 31.7 mm. The quality is much superior to the later issues in aluminum. The artwork is also noticeably different: for example, there is only a single tank, and the two airplanes are of smaller size compared with the later issues.
In excellent condition. The enamel is practically free of wear typically found on NK badges of the period. The silver finish on the sunrays is likewise intact. The raised details of the artwork are nicely preserved. The pin attachment is original and fully intact.

One of the requirements for this award was total self-sufficiency in providing food for all of the company soldiers. Two consecutive "Red Flag
Company" titles were much harder to earn than just one, and the 2nd award badges are therefore far more scarce, especially early issues.
