Tank Driver Proficiency Badge, 3rd class, 1954-1961.
In excellent condition - one of the best examples of this badge we have ever seen. The enamel shows magnificent luster and is literally perfect, free of any wear that could be found even with a 10x loupe. Practically all of the original black finish on the tanks is still intact; the nickel plating on the wings is pristine and bright. The fire gilt on the wreath and reverse is likewise pristine. The screw post is full length, approx. 11.5 mm, and includes original screw plate marked "Pobeda Factory, Moscow". To reiterate, this is a truly
