MPS Railway Conductor's Badge, Southwestern Railroad, #11, late 1940s - late 1950s.

In brass and enamels; 33.7 mm in height, 29.7 mm in width. The individual serial number "11" is in the center, under the white letters МПС ("MPS", for Ministry of Railroad Transportation.)

In excellent condition. The red enamel shows beautiful luster and has only a few microscopic contact marks invisible to the naked eye, no other wear. The black enamel on the lettering and blue enamel in the center are also essentially perfect. The white letters have surface rubbing and a few miniscule flakes that are almost unnoticeable.
