Brass, enamels; measures 66.7 mm in width, 23.6 mm in height.

In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect. The original fire gilt finish on the obverse is beautifully preserved and bright. There is minor amount of tarnish on the reverse which adds character. The screw post is full length, nearly 12 mm, and comes with original screw plate maker marked "Pobeda Factory, Moscow". A premium example of the early Cold War, hard to find Soviet pilot's badge for highest proficiency level!
