Central Asian Border Guard District (KSAPO), commemorative badge for active-duty servicemen, circa early 1990s.
Aluminum, paint, lacquer; 41.5 x 33.9 mm. Although possibly manufactured in the first year or two after the collapse of the USSR, this badge is still "Soviet in spirit" and shows a Soviet national emblem on the borer marker. The reverse shows maker's logo of the Olimp ("Olympus") Workshop in the city of Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. Excellent condition.
