Badge of the Mongolian National History Museum, Ulaan Baatar, circa 1950s-60s.

Brass, enamels; 26.6 x 18.9 mm. In very fine condition. There are tiny chips to the ornamental border on the right side, almost unnoticeable to the naked eye, otherwise perfect.

Judging by its fine quality, the badge was probably issued only to the employees and VIP visitors of the museum, not sold as a souvenir to regular tourists.
