Excellent condition. The paint is perfect, without chips or significant wear. There is only minimal wear to the finish on the raised points of the USSR national emblem; its details are nicely preserved and crisp. The screw post is full length, approx. 11 mm, and includes original Pobeda Factory screw plate.

The badge was issued for a brief period after 1962 when the MVD was known as MOOP (Ministry for Protection of Public Order) and until the introduction of the new MVD Excellent Policeman award in 1970.
