Soviet Pennant for letter Б ("Буки") of Russian Nautical Code or Numeral One (1, "Unaone") of the International Nautical Code, dated 1952.
In wool bunting, same quality and construction as the typical Soviet Navy ensign and other naval flags of the period. Measures approx. 36" x 23". Comes with a long attachment rope in natural hemp (as opposed to synthetic thread as seen on later Soviet flags), complete with metal hardware to hoist on the line. The hoist sleeve shows markings of the Nabivtkan Factory, quality control stamp, and a 1952 date of manufacture.
The flag is in very good to excellent condition. It is free of any moth damage. There is an area of faint discoloration and a single small stain

of them very noticeable or detractive. There is no significant
staining or soiling. The flag is completely sound, and the
colors are bright, not showing any fading.
