Badge of a Veteran of the 6th Guards Ground Attack Aviation Regiment, circa 1970s - 80s.
Aluminum, paint, lacquer; the medallion measures approx. 40 mm in height (including the eyelet), 39 mm wide. The inscription reads "6th Guards Moscow Ground Attack Aviation Regiment." The suspension features an Order of Victory. The city name Moscow signifies where the regiment distinguished itself in combat, which was added to its name. The reverse of the suspension has a soviet style maker mark of the Mytishchi factory. The badge is in excellent condition.
