Aluminum, paint, lacquer; the medallion measures approx. 45 mm in height (including the eyelet), 42 mm wide. The inscription reads "Veteran of the 1st Fighter Aviation Corps of the Air Defense." There is a maker mark of the Moscow City Chapter of the All-Russia Society of the Deaf on the reverse of the suspension. The badge is in very fine to excellent condition. There are some scuffs to the paint, otherwise no significant damage of any kind.
