Made in rugged cotton, very soundly stitched, with reinforced vent holes on each side and simulated leather sweat band. The liner shows clear maker stamp of the Headgear Factory in the city of Gukovo with a 1988 date of manufacture. There is also a smaller quality control stamp. The size is marked 55 (which corresponds with US size 6 7/8, Small.)

The hat is in Mint unissued condition. Perfect through and through, completely free of storage wear, soiling or typical moldy smell of a Soviet warehouse.
