In excellent condition. The red enamel on the hammer & sickle emblem shows beautiful luster and has only a few tiny contact marks, none of the usual flaking or chips. The raised details are perfectly preserved and crisp. The medal is almost completely free of even microscopic contact marks to the silver and shows extremely attractive dark patina to on both sides.

The suspension device is original and complete, including triangular back plate, hexagon nut and the screw plate with "Mondvor" logo. The connecting link is original and has not been cut. The moiré ribbon appears to be original to the medal and is exceptionally well preserved. The screw post is full length, nearly 11 mm long measured from the back plate. Overall, this is a superb example that would be nearly impossible to upgrade condition-wise!
