Standard hard-covered maroon booklet with impressed lettering and Soviet state emblem on the cover. Watermarked internal pages. This is an early version of the document issued with a Variation 1 Border Guard Medal (in silver). It shows MVD stamp (Border Guards were briefly under the MVD command at the time) and hand-signed by Deputy Minister of the Interior (Hero of the Soviet Union Lt. General Perevertkin, who at the time was Deputy Minister of Interior in Charge of MVD Troops.) Note that both the front cover and the stamp on the inside show the early version of the

Excellent condition. The front cover is perfect, while the
leatherette binding on the back has some usual bubbles that
are not detractive. The internal pages show small stains from
rusted staples, otherwise pristine.
