30th Anniversary of the October Revolution, commemorative badge, issued in Soviet Estonia in 1947.
Silver plated brass; measures 24.6 tall x 21.9 mm wide. Profiles of Stalin and Lenin are covering the globe - signifying the shape of things to come for all other independent states, at least in the neighborhood. Shows dates "1917-1947" and Roman numeral "XXX", with Estonian writing "AASTAT" at the bottom.
In outstanding, excellent condition, uncommon for this badge. The silver plating is exceptionally well preserved, with only barely visible wear to the high points of the bas-reliefs - creating a full impression of a solid silver piece, at least to an unaided
