Medal (Badge) Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Mongolian Trade Unions, circa early to mid 1970s.
In brass and enamels; the medallion is of riveted, two-piece construction and measures 36.5 mm tall (incl. eyelet), 32.3 mm wide. An interesting feature of this badge is a raised Soviet maker mark ЛЮМ ("LYuM") on the reverse of the medallion which stands for Leningrad Jewelry Factory.
In very fine overall condition. The medallion is excellent, with perfect enamel, pristine gilt finish and tight rivets. The pin attachment of the suspension device has been repaired with solder. The ribbon shows age and wear but is still quite presentable. A nice pi
