7" x 7" x 3". Exceedingly sturdy white plastic with equally sturdy metal hinges. Lid shows festive holiday scene of Grandfather Frost and a whole crew of cartoon animals (a bear on skis?). The old fashioned street sign on the corner of the building says "January 1" and the writing on the window reads, "Happy New Year!" Manufacturer's logo impressed on the bottom: "Karbolit Factory, [town of] Orekhovo-Zuevo".
