Portrait Poster of Taras Shevchenko (1814-1861), Kiev, 1991.

Sized 17 1/8" by 26 ¾". Portrait of the famous Ukrainian artist and writer within symbolic border.

Excellent condition.

Shevchenko, thought of by Ukrainians as the father of their literature, was honored by the USSR with many statues and even appeared on a Soviet commemorative ruble coin.
