Badge for Excellence in Socialist Competition, Ministry of Industrial Construction Materials, #5545, 1946 - mid 1950s.

Gilded brass, enamels. 29.6 x 20.4 mm. Engraved serial number to the reverse. Shows a worker who appears to be climbing a brick wall trying to reach the hammer and sickle.

Excellent condition. Comes with original maker marked screw plate (slightly loose but functional).
