In gilded brass and enamels, stamped serial number to the reverse (note the relatively low serial number even for the Variation 1). Medallion measures 42.4 mm tall (incl. eyelet), 39.7 mm wide. This is the first version of the medal featuring concave reverse. Excellent quality throughout.

The screw post is of full length, nearly 14 mm, and includes original screw plate marked "Moscow Artists Cooperative".
