Badge of an Honored Worker of Seafaring Merchant Fleet, Type 2, #14693, circa 1960s.
Brass, enamels; 43.9 mm x 30.1 mm; weighs 12.2 without the screw plate. Late variation featuring counter-relief to the reverse. The mint mark "MMD" is located below and slightly to the right of the screw post.
In excellent condition. The enamel and gilt finish are essentially pristine. The screw post measures approx. 8.5 mm long, possibly reduced by a mm or two for convenience as was customary but fully sufficient for proper functionality. Original mint marked screw plate is included.
