Nairamdal (Friendship) Railroad commemorative badge, early to mid 1950s.
Brass gilt, enamels; 26.1 mm tall x 22.2 mm wide. Excellent condition.
Very uncommon badge showing flags of the USSR, Mongolian Peoples Republic and Peoples Republic of China. It was issued only until relationship between China and Soviet Union (and, consequently, between China and Mongolia) went sour in the late 50s, when Mao embarked on his Great Leap Forward and started criticizing Khrushchev.
