Japan, Order of the Sacred Treasure 6th class, includes a lapel pin, in original fitted case of issue.

The badge. Silver, enamels, 42.4 mm in height (incl. eyelet), 37.4 mm in width, overall weight with connecting loop and ribbon is 20.8 g. The reverse is silver, with the usual engraved characters meaning "order of merit decoration". Comes with the original rectangular lacquered wooden fitted case of issue padded with purple velvet. In excellent condition. All the components are intact, no wear or damage visible to the naked eye to the metal, gold plating, or enamels.

The issue case is 99.2 x 62.3 x 27.8 mm, in black lacquered wood. Inside, both the lid and the fitted pad for the badge are lined with purple silk. In excellent condition, showing minimal level of storage wear to the lacquer. The lacquer is vibrantly shiny, the gold-plated kanji on the lid is pristine, the hinge is strong and tight, and the latch is in perfect working order.

The Order of the Sacred Treasure was founded by Emperor Meiji's edict of 1 January 1888 to be bestowed upon persons who had rendered distinguished service to the state. It was awarded to the military and civilians, and in May 1919 was extended to women.
