Silver gilt, enamels; 47.7 mm tall, 49.7 mm wide; weighs 49.0 g not including the screw plate. Riveted three-piece construction; displays trademark high quality of the Soviet Mint production. Variation 2 featuring two rivets and a circular depression in the middle of the reverse. In excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect with the exception of a microscopic flake and a couple of similarly tiny scratches at the tip of the uppermost left ray of the white starburst - completely invisible to the naked eye. Both the white enamel and the beautiful multicolored enamel on the state emblem show magnificent luster.

The raised portions of the gold rays likewise appear perfect to the unaided eye and have some microscopic dings. The original fire gilt finish is fully preserved and bright. There is a very attractive dark patina to silver on the reverse. The screw post is full length, well over 14.5 mm long, and includes an original period screw plate.
