Excellent condition. The enamel is extremely well preserved and shows beautiful luster; there are just a few microscopic flakes and contact marks at the outer edges of the white scrolls that are completely unnoticeable without magnification. There are a few tiny dings to the raised border around the center medallion, nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye, while the raised details of its artwork are perfect and exceptionally crisp exhibiting no detectable wear whatsoever. The original gold plating on the starburst is present and clearly visible, although toned down by silver patina. There is a beautiful untouched patina to the reverse. The screw post is full length, over 15.5 mm, and comes with an original Soviet-made period screw plate which fits perfectly.
