Porcelain Figurine Commemorating 10th Anniversary of the South Urals Fixtures & Insulators Factory, 1967.

Stands 4.5" tall to the highest point, the round base is a little over 2" across. The artwork depicts a worker of the factory proudly holding a large insulator for high voltage power lines. The reverse features the graphic logo of the factory with its acronym above and the dates of the 10 years of its existence (1957 - 1967) below, in gold.

Maker marked on the bottom. This version of the logo of the South Urals Porcelain Factory was in use from 1963 to 1974 (fig. # 772 in Volume One of Marks on Soviet Porcelain, Faience, and Majolica, 1917-1991 by Nasonova et al).

In excellent condition. The only wear, a sliver of a chip at the top of the figurine, is on the back side of it and practically blends in with the white of the reverse side. There is no other wear or damage visible to the naked eye. The golden logo on the reverse is fully intact and has retained all its golden luster.
