24th Congress of the Communist Party of the USSR, Delegate's Badge, 1971.

Silver gilt, enamels; measures 34.2 mm in height (incl. flagpole finial), 21.7 mm in width. Riveted two-piece construction, magnificent quality badge showing Kremlin clock tower and the Palace of Soviets building, with red banner and superimposed gilded bust of Lenin.

In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect. The original gilt finish on the bas-relief, lettering and wreath is well preserved and bright.

Issued exclusively to the delegates of the Congress. For unknown reasons, this badge is among the hardest to find among the CPSU Congress badges.
