In excellent condition, completely sound and unfaded. There are a couple of minor spots near the edge that do not affect the image and in any case will disappear from view when the portrait is properly framed. The wrinkles will likewise disappear when the linen is carefully steamed or framed. This uncommon and impressive piece was obviously meant for an important government office.
