MOPR Badge for Donations, version with blue enamel, 1932.
Brass, enamels; 19.5 mm wide. Scarce variation featuring
blue background of the prison cell and more detailed
depiction of the window bars. Very nice enamel quality.
Striking and laconic constructivist artwork showing a red
scarf waving from the prison window.
In very fine to excellent condition, outstanding for this
badge. There is a single scratch to the blue enamel, not
very noticeable or detractive. A small unfilled area at the
top edge of the red scarf appears to be a manufacturing
flaw, not a result of damage. The enamel has only
microscopic contact marks elsewhere and shows beautiful
luster throughout. Original silver finish is extremely well
preserved on both the obverse and reverse.
