KM-15 I Oxygen Mask, designed for emergency in-flight use on a multitude of Soviet aircraft.
High quality rubber and plastic device, suede lined interior border for a snug fit to keep the oxygen from simply escaping into the aircraft's compartment. Parts that should be pliable are still supple. Mask and tubing comes in a white nylon bag, now discolored due to contact with the rubber components. A complementary bilingual diagram is included. 1981 dated.
Excellent condition, although after almost thirty years of storage, most of the rubber surfaces will need to be wiped clean.
Intended for use in passenger compartments that were either not pressurized or in danger of losing pressure during high altitude flights. In case your flight had no stewardess to explain beforehand how to put on the mask, the drawing would served as your only wearing guide.
