WWI Patriotic Jetton with portraits of Emperor Nicholas II, French President Raymond Poincare and British King George V, 1914.
In brass, measures 33.8 mm in height incl. eyelet, 25.0 mm in width. The obverse shows Emperor Nicholas II with the inscription "Emperor Nicholas II '' above and motto "God Save the Tsar" below. On the reverse are portraits of the leaders of the two main allies of Russia at the beginning of WW1, the 1914 date, and the inscription "Memory of the Great War". Jettons such as this one were usually issued for donations to the war effort or care for wounded soldiers.
Very fine condition. There is slight wear to the high points, mostly on the obverse, but most of the details are intact.
