Set of 3 matchboxes with Stalin's portraits on the label, circa late 1940s - early 50s.
The boxes are made of wood veneer, measuring approx. 2" x 1½" x ½". There are two uncommon features: a second label on the bottom, and a paper seal with the state emblem of the USSR.
In excellent, superb condition. The boxes are empty but the striking surfaces on the sides do not show any sign of use. All parts are holding strong and tight.
This set should be a welcome addition to a phillumenist's collection or a collection of Soviet lifestyle memorabilia.
